Social animals develop sociality through interactions with parents and surrounding animals. In particular, in the early stages of development, the formation of attachment with the mother, the most primary social partner, is important for social development. Our laboratory aims to study what cellular and molecular mechanisms of maternal attachment formation affect the brain and sociality development.
